Greenzone regeneration

Storm Creative and Crawley Borough Council have renewed their award winning partnership against climate change by giving the GreenZone, a new look to encourage the community to act on their carbon emissions.

GreenZone is an interactive learning facility located in Crawley's Tilgate Park, which educates visitors about their effect on the environment. The refurbishment started in October, with funding from the Department of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, and the new GreenZone was launched on 26th October.

The GreenZone houses a series of Eco-showcases to effectively demonstrate the many benefits of Eco-living. With an imaginative use of recycled and reused products, including a contemporary sofa carved out of an iron bath, cushions made from recycled seatbelts and tables created from washing machine drums, the GreenZone is now a fun and thought-provoking showcase for visitors of all ages.
